This code establishes the responsibility of Safesoft, its collaborators and service providers toward the members of the company themselves, toward our partners, clients and the whole community. It helps us to understand the responsibilities we share and alerts us on important legal and ethical issues that may arise. This document does not intend to cover all Safesoft’s policies, procedures and standards. Maybe you will not find here all the answers you are looking for. But you will find examples of our basic and illustrative Values on how Safesoft chooses to act and how each member of our company is expected to behave. If you are in doubt about this Code, or if the conduct of a colleague in your workplace is worrying, first speak to your manager. If by any reason, you are not comfortable to act that way, contact the company’s ombudsman: ouvidoria@safesoft.com.br.
The supervision of the Programme of Ethics and Compliance with Standards of Conduct is under the responsibility of the Safesoft’s Board and Legal Department.
Our company assigned representatives to the quality and commercial segments, putting them in charge of establishing standards of ethics and conduct, as well as providing the respective training, besides monitoring and addressing issues on those matters.
Besides the conventional channels of communications and help resources available, the Hotline for Ethical Conduct is a simple way for any collaborator or service provider to report concerns on activities regarding business or the workplace, which may not be aligned with Safesoft’s values, or to express doubts, in case any explanation or counseling is required. The Hotline for Ethical Conduct may be contacted through email, ouvidoria@safesoft.com.br.
All Safesoft’s collaborators and service providers have the right to make questions or express concerns on behaviors in the workplace or in interpersonal relationships, even though they are practiced through electronic means. Many transgressions occur for lack of information or understanding of principles, or because people simply want to “resolve” a situation, and not for character failure or dishonesty.
Disciplinary measures, including dismissal, may be taken toward collaborators that cease to comply with Safesoft’s business ethics practices or that consciously provide fake information. The termination of service provision contracts may also occur, when it is appropriate.
